.... backing another Kickstarter

Kickstarter are a large part of my last years spending of my tabletop gaming budget. This year so far I have backed the following Kickstarters.

1.Wyrd -The Other Side

2.Luxumbra Infinity Collection

3.Subterra - Card Game

That makes it just over one a month so far. Why so many? It's simply the Minis and exclusive freebies. So far I have picked one new mini-game, One new card (always trying to find one that the misses will play), and last of a painting Kickstarter.

But there has been a new board game which got me hooked in. It is called GKR Eavey Hitters by Weta Workshops.

There are several reasons I wanted to back this games. The first is that it's a board game which you control giant robots. SOLD The second is the company, I have enjoyed the work of weta workshops and can not help but back any they try and do in the tabletop world. This venture is what I think Kickstarter was made for and not just a pre-order system.

... has had a busy year

At the beginning of the last year I became a press ganger for privateer press. Which has ment that I spend a potion of my time organising events in the Leeds area. This is one main reasons why the blog has been quiet.

The main event being the BCB where we managed to rise over a £1000 on the on the day.

Right I thought it would be a good idea to post a rough idea what i have planned this year for the blog.

There are a few topics I would like to start and cover over the next year.

One of the firsts is to post up the top three players list form the events that take place at Leeds Warmachine through the year.

Towards the end of the year I received the results of kickstarter for wild west exodus which is boxed and i will do a unboxing as post. Along with thoughts on the game.

I would like to also post unboxing pictures and new models and games that I buy over the year. This includes the new 2 player starter set for firestorm armada.

I would also like to post a series of unboxing that will cover the the new star trek magazine.

Not sure if there will be time to still cover topics other then table top gaming but I may throw in a short movie review here and there.
